KAR , is my creation, a one time soldier now in quiet retirement. Inducted in 1968 into the Army as an Infantryman of the colorful and youthful highland regiment, The Gemunu Watch, I cut my teeth in Military operations during the Insurgency of 1971.. After serving a few more years in the infantry, I was selected and appointed to raise the Commando outfit of the Sri Lanka army.

I am therefore credited with the title of ‘The Father Of The Commandos’’ of the Sri Lanka army.I raised the Commandos and Commanded it for Ten Years.I created the Elite Anti Hijack and Hostage release unit of the Sri Lanka Army . I am also the first Sri Lankan Army Paratrooper. I also have a few other ‘Firsts’ credited to me during my tenure in the Service.

I had the privilege and distinction of being trained with some of the elite troops around the world. To name some of them,

The Special Air Service [SAS] of the British Army,
The Special Service Group [SSG] of the Pakistan Army,
The Israel Defense Forces,
The Royal Marines in Lympstone and
The Indian Army
The Military training combined with my operational experience gives me the Supreme confidence to offer you an experience that few can offer.
I am a Graduate of the Command and Staff College in Camberely UK and the Military College of Sciences in Shrivenham U.K.
I am also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management UK and a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management

I have a team of experts drawn from the Academia in the Mercantile Sector and retired Army Commandos with the experience of handling Adventure training.

The Logistics are ably handled by my Wife , who has been a Deputy Head of a Colombo School and my Sister who has been a former employee of British Airways in the UK.
